Recommended TV Settings

I'm noticing people change their set top box to 720 output, is this recommmended? Wouldnt it change the quality on a 1080p plasma? Which pixels do you use, 24, 30, or 36? I like using the instant on feature, but I keep losing tv signal. What about audio,
I'm also noticing people change their output to stero. What settings do you recommend for my Xbox One? Any help would be awesome!

Screen goes black

Try using different video cables. Or adjust the video setting (720p, 1080i, 1080p) to the recommended TV setting. Let me know how it works.

just a question did you set up your tv to the recommended settings. if you go to the setting display setting and calibrate telivision that is located in the sound and display settings that might make a huge difference

If you go to "Settings" you can calibrate your TV to maximise the visuals.

I did this and then promptly put it back the way I think it looks better the way I had it.

But others have done this and insist the difference before and after is like night and day.

Try that.

Depends on what you budget is & on whether you plan on upgrading to the next gen consoles some time in the future.

OLED & QLED's do give you a better picture although you probably wont get the full benefit on a xbox One S.

If you are planning to get a Series X or S then HDMI 2:1 would be a good idea as you'd need that to get 120fps on any games that has that.You also might want to get a TV with Dolby Vision as that is coming to the next gen games as well.

LG's or Samsung tv's tend to be the best for gaming in my experience.

I have a Samsung 55" 4K TV & have never looked back.

I'm in no way a mega expert in all the tech stuff when it comes to tv's but i think that covers the basics.
