    Recognizing "A" button in Win10 dashboard


    Anyone see this bug with the Windows 10 dashboard? I don't know if it's a Battlefront bug or a dashboard bug.

    I've had it happen before (am a preview member) but I think it may have actually happened during the Battlefront beta. But basically, if you go into certain areas of the game and then back out, eventually the A button doesn't respond anymore. It happens at
    the all levels from the dashboard to any game.

    "A" Button Broken

    My Xbox One Controller + Cable for Windows' "A" button is no longer functioning. I've tested all buttons and everything works fine except for the "A" button which does not even register when I press it. The button does not feel any different than normal
    when I press it, and the controller is very new, as I purchased it January 23 of this year. I tried to report the problem, which required me to register my controller officially, but the serial code did not fit in the box provided. Posting on these forums
    is all I could think of after that didn't work. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    sorry to hear about your problem, I assume the serial number issue was coming up when you tried to use the xbox online service centre linked
    here?

    I use smart glass as a remote for X1, but now it doesn't recognize the "A" button. I wonder if it's a related issue. And, it doesn't recognize the Xbox disc either

    Where's the Xbox 360 Features on Xbox One ?

    the xbox one dashboard it's different from the 360 one and uses a custom version of win10. they wanted to make the dashboard different from the past and make it similar to win10. There are avatars and some features are in the preview program. I don't understand
    what features are not present on the xone that were on the 360.

    Lost ownership of DLC for a backwards compatible game

    Once you install the DLC you want to make sure you go back to the dashboard, fully quit the game by pressing the Menu button and selecting quit, and then relaunching the game when it's all done installing. That will make sure the game recognizes that
    the DLC is there by initializing with it installed.
