reckoning kingdom of amalur DOWNLOADED version only DLC not working-- fix found

I've seen many threads about the armor/weapons dlc not working, this is for the downloaded version only, disc works just fine and all dlc and even the omni blades from a mass effect save show up with the physical copy of the
disc.

When i read some of the other threads it stated to delete the valor dlc and then the weapons and armor packs would work.

however, nothing i tried would work and i never had the valor dlc, to begin with. the only dlc that would work from the beginning is: the teeth of naros and quest of dead kel and the omni blades for having a copy of a mass effect save.

my husband knew i was complaining and got me the physical copy of the game, all of my DLC works fine now, it must be something in the download version not allowing it to read the armor/weapon packs.

slightly expensive fix but selling the armor and weapons from the beginning gets you a jump start on the game and i like this game and have replayed many x's.
