recieving hate for gamertag

Yes, i meant with the spaces.

Like has been said there are 2 websites that advise you to claim harassment to get a free change.

 

I only know of one and last time I read the forum they even said they were locking it as it no longer worked

 

Well, the OP did incorrectly spell "receiving", so I don't think we should put it past him to get "scissors" wrong.

 

I'm not wondering if the word "hate " is being misused in this thread.... and that people are so concerned about spelling.....

 

Its a public forum, and a public place.

As long as you can understand what the person is saying. Spelling doesn't matter. If it did, I would be editing posts over on the MS Answers forums under 'Add Clarity' reason :/

Personally its your choice. Spelling doesn't matter. Its having fun =D

LIVE now doesn't see spaces, so "DigiLuigi" is seen to be the same as "Digi Luigi" when creating a gamertag.

So by the same token "RunWithScissors" would be seen to be the same as "Run With Scissors".

 

They don`t count the spaces, but they still count as one of your 15 characters.

[/quote]I know. He still would've run out of characters when typing it with spaces. And unless Viral Cyrix has proof that:

1. The other gamertag existed prior to the OP's

2. OP attempted making the tag without spaces

you don't know for sure that Cyrix's post is true.

 

A lot of people intentionally misspell their gt. I never pay attention to that really. But if he's in a group of hyper 15-year old CoD'ers, who will look for anything to make fun of, they would have a blast with that misspelling.

I agree with you and I understand your point. Right now, he wouldn't be able to change it even if he could exceed the character limit. Back then, I don't know, you very well might be right. Maybe I was just nitpicking, sorry. When I get quoted and told something
I already know, I go into defense mode to show that nothing I said was incorrect.
