Recieved Death Threats what should I do?

This might seem like a silly question but i have just received pretty horrndous death threats online. I was playing in a free roam lobby on red dead. Some guys started messaging me, included the usual sexiest, racist name calling messages. I did reply
back and but i never used bad language or called them names. Basically laughed at them and told them they take the game too seriously. Once they realised i was not rising to them. I then got 3 messages that read "we have your ip, we are 2 hours away from you,
were coming to kill you little girl" the people very quickly deleted the messages. Now can someone please tell me if they can in fact have my address from my ip and what should i do? As a young woman on my own im not sure how seriously to take this

Unfortunately there is nothing further that can be done from here on the forums. I implore you to go to your local authorities. They take things like this seriously and work with Xbox/MS.

Hello Lady,

If the threats are that bad we would recommend getting your local authorities involved. Sorry the blocking system isn't working. Are they by chance using different accounts? If you have any messages save them as they can be proof for the authorities, they
will then get with Microsoft to find the individuals. For the blocking restart your console, you can set your profile to appear offline. Hit the guide button on controller, go to far left, select profile, top right select appear offline.

It can take time for the enforcement team to investigate. It's not an automatic process. If you do feel threatened in real life, contact the police.

I have followed all advice and blocked these people last night. But this morning i have recieved another death threat. Also saying they will be at my home today. I dont understand how after i blocked them, and i am absolutely disgusted that i have reported
the racist and sexiest comments and the death threats to microsoft and these people have not received any sort of ban and are still somehow threaening me.

I'd recommend firstly reporting the player like this.

Press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide, go to People, and then select the gamertag you wish to report. ...

From the player's profile, select Report or block.

Select Report.

Select one of the following reasons for the report:

Select Add comment to provide more information.

I know it's scary but I wouldn't be worried about them getting your physical address. Your IP address is only attached to your actually address through your ISP account. And their security and protection would be incredible. I wouldn't
be worried about these rude people getting your actual physical address at all. Hope that helps
