Rechargable Battery Issue

I'm wondering which type of batteries you are using.

Is it a rechargeable battery Pack or AA batteries.

Try recharging the batteries or replaing them with fresh batteries.

If the Issue persists , try explaining better your Issue.

since your just got the Xbox one X I advise you to contact Xbox Support regarding the controller issue to see what they advise, since it could be a hardware issue with the controller, since the other controller is charging the battery pack without problems.

I assume you are using an official Xbox battery pack and cables etc.

I am using an Anker usb cable. A friend of mine has an xbox one X as well and tried it on his controller and was charging perfectly fine with the anker usb cable.

Anker is a very reliable brand, i have some products from them. Well if you tried this is almost sure that there must be a physical issue with your controller, if you still being in the 30 days for return the item assuming you recently bought the Xbox, i
recomend you go to the store and let them know about the issue. Unless you bought it online....

I just got an Xbox One X and I noticed that my Rechargable battery won't charge whenever I use the black controller that came with the Xbox One X. However whenever I use my white Xbox one controller which I
bought seperately, it charges fine with no issue.

I already checked to see if the black controller needed an update but it did not. Does anyone know what the issue could be? Is my black controller not working properly? I would really like not having to switch
controllers just to charge my battery.

Note: I use a usb wall charger instead of plugging it to the xbox and works perfectly fine on my White controller. Also pluggin my black controller directly to the xbox it shows that it is "charging" but it
is not.

Maybe the cable for Xbox one S isn´t compatible to use on the controller for Xbox one X. What kind of cable are you using to charge it? I always charge my batteries with Wall Chargers, maybe will be good if you have at least 2 pairs of rechargable batteries.
