Recently Serviced Xbox One making a new sound

So today I just got my Xbox One back from being serviced for making a grinding sound when a disc was inserted and not being able to read a disc. Well now it reads disks and doesnt male a grinding sound instead it makes a low buzzing/static like sound when
is disc is inserted. When the disk is played this sound continues until the game is on when the sound escalates to a full And fast buzzing/static sound. This is pretty annoying then as I just got it back and this sound doesnt make a game in playable it's just
incredibly loud and distracting. What should I do?

Thanks for reaching out to us! We understand this can be concerning since the console is making a noise that sounds squeaky. It does seem like it would be the fan itself making that noise.

I would suggesting trying to make sure there is no dust or anything and that the

console is in an open area. If it appears that there is an internal issue with the fan itself and you believe it could cause an issue then it would be best to set up another repair. Sometimes the fan does make a noise but that is the fan working hard when
playing certain games or doing certain tasks.

Just found out my xbox one s is now out of warranty because I sent it for a repair... cannot believe i’m seeing this!

 

Update: After playing a a digital game the sound persisted so the issue must be with the fan so how it was services must have created the problem but still what should I do?

Thanks for using the Community Support Forums.

Could you try placing your console on a different surface while it's running and see if you still get this sound?

Also try hard resetting your Xbox One by holding your finger on the power button from 15 seconds, unplugging all cables, re-connecting them all and booting back up.

Sorry to hear the issue still persists.

In this case - you may need to send the console back in for repair, citing exactly what the issue is.

I hope it gets resolved for you this time.
