Recently Played Games & Online Activity Not Showing

Hello, this has been an issue that has been happening the past few weeks. I have also Google'd it prior, but nothing really worked so I decided to ask anyways.

I play on PC. I have the Xbox Live App, Console Companion, Game Bar, etc. on it. I also have the Xbox app on my phone.

I recently noticed that Xbox Live will not show what current game I am playing on my account while playing on my PC. It just says "Online". It also does not update recently played games anymore on the list, nor new ones pop up...

Except that yesterday I learned that it recognizes that I played one game (Microsoft Solitaire lol) as it was in my account games list, but that is the only game it would show as me playing. If I open the mobile Xbox app while playing any other game on my PC, it shows my status as "Xbox App", thus making me conclude that it is not recognizing me playing any game at all on my PC... only Microsoft Solitaire that is in the library on my PC's Xbox app and whenever I open the Xbox app on my phone.

Never had this happen before, and I was hoping to find a fix as most of my friends play Xbox and having that information displayed is consistent and very helpful. I tried many solutions: I am not offline, I checked all my privacy settings for both Xbox Live and Microsoft, reinstalled all apps, even noticed the Game Bar SHOWS the current game I am playing but that is not being reported to my Xbox Live account. I have no idea what else I can do. :C

Try to update the Game Bar version to 5.721.10202.0 it will ask you to Show Your PC Activity then click Allow. This should resolve the issue.

hello. my game bar picks up every game im playing apart from call of duty Vanguard. do you know of any fix for this?

An Xbox Dude

App activity only shows up on Xbox.com. You cannot remove that. But once you play more games it won't be in your most recent history.

Temhotabot

You have to have an active Gold Membership to play online games on XBL. Right now you are showing as a Free Silver.
