    Recently I have been experiencing lag to the point where it is impossible to play...


    This has never happened before I just keep teleporting around but it says my connection to multiplayer and the internet is fine and my NAT type is Open and sometimes the party chat will disconnect and it will say that me and my friends are connecting.

    You try contact your Internet Providor Support Servecis, Try use the DNC 8.8.8.8 to see if resolved your problem

    Oh, sorry. :p I live around an hour from there.

    I don't think I've lagged before, because I've been playing the same games I do now, and have rarely lagged until recently. And if it is because of playing with people far from where I live, why hasn't this affected me before, and is there a way to make
    it so I play with players more local to where I live?

    Hells Bill, I've recently noticed that my backwards compatible games which I own on disc have a problem where the game lags on 15 minute intervals. If you have a digital copy, then you may experiencing a different problem. Next time take out a stopwatch
    and see how often the lag comes.

    There is lag comp in all games technically. The game has to guess where the bullets are going and where you are going...but the lag comp in the recent titles has been overbearing. Blops 2 had horrendous fake lag.
