Recently hit with a Violation by the Enforcement Team

I received a message both my console and at the e-mail associated with my gamertag stating that I had been hit with a violation of the Xbox Live Code of Conduct. When I went to review what exactly I had violated, it stated that a screenshot I had uploaded
was deemed to be, "A screenshot created by this account was found to be inappropriate. This content may include profanity, sexual topics, hate speech, controversial religious topics, references to notorious people or organizations, sensitive current or historical
events, extreme violence, or any content designed to sound like, look like, reference, or allude to these topics."

Now, this has me confused because the last screenshot I tried to upload was a picture of a Pug, that's right a Pug. It wasn't doing anything, other than just standing. Nothing inappropriate was shown, it was just standing, a Pug. So, with the reason listed
as to why it was inappropriate, I'm having a hard time understanding how a Pug could be remotely associated with any of the content listed in the message. I was just trying to use a Pug as the background to my club.

Now, I have a copy of the pic, if any support would like to see the pic and then tell me that it is inappropriate, I'd really like to have that conversation. Basically make me understand how a pic of Pug, that's right, a Pug, can be in the same category
as, "This content may include profanity, sexual topics, hate speech, controversial religious topics, references to notorious people or organizations, sensitive current or historical events, extreme violence, or any content designed to sound like, look like,
reference, or allude to these topics." Trust me, that would be a really interesting conversation as to the justification how a Pug can be in the same category as true hate content.

Xbox communication ban

Also all suspensions are results of an infraction of the xbox code of conduct/terms of use.

This is how someone gets suspended.

A player hits a button to send a report to the enforcement team about an infraction.

The enforcement team then investigates the report including any evidence.

For example someone sends a message to another player that happens to have a curse word in it that message then gets reported to the enforcement team who will look at that message and determine if there was a violation of the code of conduct.

If there was a violation then the enforcement team will suspend the communications privileges for that account.

If there was not a violation then there will be no suspension. and that person that reported the other players profile will go into a list of players that send false reports and if they get to many false reports against their profile they to can get an enforcement
action against their account.

So with the system like this there is no way for the enforcement team to go on just "hearsay" EVERY enforcement action is backed up with a specific violation of the code of conduct.

For privacy purposes the enforcement team will not tell you what specific violation occurred to get the suspension that way a player can not go back and say oh yeah I remember that message and start harassing the player that reported them for the violation.

 

GAMER TAG ISSUE

Your gamertag might have been changed by the Enforcement team due to a violation in the name.

If need to know why go to enforcement,xbox.com and amke a post on their forums, and an enforcement member can then assist you with the issue.

It could've been any of your other screen shots

It takes time to investigated and you don't know which one

 

See that would be an acceptable answer for someone who does endless screenshots and clips, but I know exactly how many I've uploaded in the last 2 months. In total I've done 4 clips and 10 screenshots, 14 items in the last 2 months. Of those 10 screenshots, 9
were to Titanfall 2, some of the loading screens had very cool images that I took screenshots so I could download them for my screensaver collage and then quickly deleted afterwards. Since then, the last screenshot I uploaded was a pug. I don't screenshot
everything in sight. The only 3 screenshots I have at all still visible, belong to Halo MCC. Again, I'm very aware of what is and isn't uploaded by my account because I monitor available storage capacity.
