Recently found out my old Xbox Live account after starting a new one

I just bought an X1 COD bundle and I cannot remember with the account that I've used for my X360 so I decided to use a new one, I downloaded the code of CODAW and after that I start to remember the old account email address and password so I was wondering
if there's a chance that I can transfer my game?

Transferring a gamertag from one Xbox Live account to another.

Hi,

Recently I have created a new Xbox Live account and linked it to my new Microsoft account. I wanted to associate my old gamertag from my old account with my new one. All of the directions I have found online have described how to do this using the Xbox console.
The problem is that I don't have an Xbox. I want to basically transfer either my gamertag or maybe my Xbox Live account to my new Microsoft Account without the use of an Xbox.

Help! I recently opened a new Xbox live account for a xbox One because I forgot about the old account on the 360. Now I'm trying to change the 360 to the new live account and I CAN'T FIGURE IT OUT!!! My son is getting ticked btw!!!

After posting this I checked an old email account. One that hasn't been associated with my xbox live account for about a year and found my code...Strange, but it worked so I'm fine with that.

I found the solution.

Recently I've added an email alias to my Live account profile. The address was also my new primary email.

After I set the old email address as primary and restart my PC I was able to play.

Xbox Game Pass was pointing to an ID related to the new alias and was not able to find an active subscription.

This is a bug!!!

The subscription should be linked to the account not to a particular alias.

I hope this could help other gamers.

Recently moved overseas and can't freely use my old Xbox live account so have had to make a new one. sucks; but there's apparently no way around it.

I was having this same problem. than I found something that said it may have to do with your Xbox live account. Make sure your most recent credit card is on there and remove all old ones on there..I did this and it worked for mine. Hope you figure it out
