If of course the M17xR3 is your laptop model. Dell's website allows it to analyse your machine for the most recent drivers. However, the M17xR3 is pretty old and may not have any more recent driver updates.

the issue about not able to write crash dump is usually from a gpu driver error. when you updated the driver did you do a clean install of the driver or just update it.

This same thing happened on my wife's Dell laptop. Once I updated the Nvidia drivers to the latest and re-installed the Microsoft Solitaire Collection from the Windows Store, it was working again.
