Recent update to 4.1.4251.0

I guess they just pushed an update - but I can't exactly find any specifics about patch notes or whatever. It seems like they made some minor UI changes - I mostly play spider and free cell. Left clicking on a card now 'greys out' the stack of cards below
it which .. I guess ... but that animation seems to make the UI less responsive and clunky feeling than it already was. I have to try to move a card several times before the game catches up and lets the action complete. Also, in free cell, we used to be able
to continue to move cards while the sequences were rolling up to the foundation cards - which had the nice effect of speeding up the animation and letting the game finish up faster when you were in the solved state. Now we can't do that, so the combination
of these two minor changes has left the game feeling slow and clunky to interact with. I already have all the animation settings turned to off.

I don't know if Microsoft actually responds to feedback posted here, but I vote to please revert or allow better options for disabling more of the frills.

Yeah, it's most likely a numbers/population thing. But that is pretty awful that they don't have some FFA.

^^I agree. Dom needs its OWN playlists. Itll probably be back to normal after the map pack drop. I just play standard playlists for now (but no new maps in standard).

 

Seems to have been fixed / addressed in 4.1.5154.0 - at least some of the blocking aspects, FC allows you to move a card during the automated roll ups again. The accelerating roll up is still out but at least the gameplay feels smoother.

 

Annnnnd in 4.15252.0 the roll up is fixed as well.
