    Recent update halt progress


    I got online an hour ago, and an update popped up (size is 1126MB if that is anything important). So the first part ran smoothly, no problems to report. The second part (applying update) is where the progress stops; one moment the video signal cuts off for
    30 seconds around 30% of the update, and at around 70% (the bar barely passes the disc slot) it stops entirely; 10 minutes I waited and nothing so I unplugged my console and tried again. Second attempt was the same. If anything specific, I'm part of the preview
    program waiting and opt in for the new UI experience and I live on campus using wired connection. I don't know if those are contributing to update issues.

    Stuck at "Preparing console" after update

    after the most recent update was downloading, my console has been at the same stage in the progress bar for about an hour. It says to not turn off so how long does this update(after downloading) take usually to install?

    If you have too many Hordes or Infestations in the world then your progress will be halted until those matters are solved. Listen to what Lily has to say.

    Cosmetics and "time saver" packs I don't really have a problem with.

    but if it gets to the point were progression basically halts unless you buy then then thats when I'm out.

    I always recommend installing the game, and then patching

    If the console is connected to the net right now then head over to Settings and see if there is an update pending for the console. If there is then that may be what is halting the other updates.
