    [Recent Purchase] Xbox Elite Series 2 Controller having issues


    Okay, so I just bought this controller, and at first, I really liked it. However, as I played my games, the A button has not been registering all my actions. I don't know why this is but it is very disappointing considering I paid $180 for it. I like the
    controller a lot (in fact, it's the best I've ever used), but seriously paying that much for a controller just to find that it doesn't work is absolutely awful. My Dual Shock 4 controller works perfectly and I only paid a fraction of the cost.

    Now, The question comes in at, how do I claim my warranty and send it back considering the whole Covid-19 situation?

    P.S. These are the steps I took to ensure it wasn't a software bug.

    1. Factory reset the controller

    2. Reinstalled updated firmware

    3. Completely updated windows and drivers

    4. reinstalled my games and accessories app

    5. restarted the computer and the controller

    6. tried playing wired and wireless

    They recently extended the warranty for elite 2 to one year. https://support.xbox.com/en-US/help/hardware-network/controller/elite-controller-series-2-warranty . maybe this will help

    Also having this issue. Purchased a refurbished Series 2 Elite and the accessories app doesn't recognise my controller. I also don't have access to an Xbox to revert the firmware so unsure how to proceed.
