    Okay so basically I've been looking around to see if my problem has happend elsewhere but im only seeing most things about a black screen of death. I recently Purchased the Xbox one from a friend and it was working perfectly fine but now every time
    i press the power button it instead dings twice and automatically goes to the troubleshoot menu. I cannot do anything from there as pressing continue leads to a endless black screen and the factory reset buttons just loop back to the troubleshoot screen. any
    ideas?

    This worked and im pretty thankful. Hoping it will stay fine now but if not i can at least remember this for next time.

    Hi, it may be a hardware issue, more than likely the hard drive. Have you tried pressing and holding the power button on the Xbox for ten seconds when the Xbox is powered on, when the Xbox powers off pull the power cord out of the Xbox and leave it out
    for a couple of minutes, reconnect the power cord and power the Xbox on again using the power button on the Xbox.

    Hi,

    as this appears to be a hardware issue, Contact the support at support.microsoft.com and they will arrange a hardware swap. It works quite fast and you get a new console quickly.
