    Recent drop in network speeds on Xbox One!!! HELP!


    Ive recently noticed a major drop off in speeds on my Xbox One. My ISP is Cox and I have had no trouble with my internet in the past, but over the past few weeks I have been struggling with speeds on my Xbox. My package through Cox is 120Mbps down and 15Mbps
    up. I am using both a wired connection on my PC and Xbox.

    When I run a speed test on my PC I get this....

    I must also include not even a month ago when I ran speed tests on my Xbox I was getting around 110 down and 10 up.

    Any suggestions on what could be my problem?!

    Xbox One not getting correct download speed using a wired netowrk.

    Hi! I recently tested my download speed on my pc, and I had a 3.05 download, and a 0.5 upload... ( I know terrible )


    but I went on xbox one this morning because I was lagging TERRIBLE on titanfall, bf4, and nba 2k14 and I did detailed network statistics and it says I have a 0.010 download, and 0.01 upload, so that roughly an 84 kb/s dl speed and a ping that is through the roof with 30 % packet loss, remember I am using a WIRED network here, can any of you help me or have a problem similar to this with a fix?

    Internet is not fast on my XBOX One X

    Check to see if your home router has support for Quality of Service (QoS) for its Internet connection. Enabling a QoS feature on your home router can help prioritize the network connection for your Xbox One to improve download speeds.

    If you're still seeing a slow download speed, try the Xbox One Network Connection Error Solution, which can help identify problems
    between your home network and your Internet service provider.

    Thank you for your post. I understand you are looking for a way to limit download speed on your Xbox One. Speed limiting for downloads is not an available feature for the Xbox One, a way around this could be through your router's configurations. Many routers
    made recently have options for limiting bandwidth to devices on the network.
