Recent App Tiles Not Changing

This is only a small issue but is incredibly annoying. Ever since the most recent update the five main tiles on the homescreen (the big one and four small ones) have been stuck on the 5 games I played pre-update. This means when I go off Netflix to pause
an update on my games and apps, the app is gone and Battlefield 4 is were it should be. To access it I have to go back into my games and apps and open it there. Any help?

How do you change the main tile on the home screen?

I read somewhere that when you don't have an active app, the main tile is supposed to show your most recent app, but it doesn't. It always shows Halo: The Master Chief Collection. No matter how long ago I played it, as soon as I turn on the xbox (or close
the active app), it appears front and center, my most recent app relegated to the row beneath it. I don't see any way of 'setting' an app to that tile, is this a bug?

changes to mah jong

Recent Mahjong changes that involve the tiles jumping around and changing size towards the end of the game just add another unnecessary obstacle for those with visual and mobility issues and contribute nothing to the game.

Can you try a hard reset first (hold power button until it shuts off, then turn back on) and then you can also try just a dashboard reset. Hold the left and right trigger and press Y. You should see it refresh the ads etc.

The main tile is usually the most recently used app/game so it shouldn't be showing Halo MCC if you haven't used it. Although, I have seen the main tile change to the game that is in the disc drive previously but as I generally use digital games this doesn't
happen often.

Is Halo MCC in your disc drive?

Thanks for sharing the images. MaximumExtreme is correct, the tiles under the main tile will change as you use other games and apps.

One instance is most likely on the bottom right as that is the tile that shows what's in the disc tray. The other tiles at the bottom show your most recently used games or apps, hence one of those tiles also shows the game you have just stopped playing.

the tiles below the main tile are just your most recently used tiles. they will disappear as you use other tiles that take the place of them as recently used
