Receiving reward points

I received an email about the rewards for ghost recon and the spending get 60 dollars in the Xbox store. I did both. When I went to the rewards site to check on it I saw that it said get started. How will I receive those points for my purchases?

From the FAQ for the Ghost Recon offer:

Which items are eligible for this offer?To qualify for this offer, you must order a hard-copy disc of Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands for Xbox One from MicrosoftStore.com during
the offer period. This offer is good for one purchase only. You can earn up to 15,000 Rewards Credits, depending on which version of the game you purchase:

• Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands Standard Edition: 10,000 Rewards Credits

• Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands Deluxe Edition: 12,000 Rewards Credits

• Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands Gold Edition: 15,000 Rewards Credits

Since your purchase was made digitally, it did not qualify for that offer, however, it will qualify for the Simply Rewarding offer. Keep in mind that it takes us up to 96 hours to receive and process purchase information, so it is too early to see Credits
for your purchase on the 12th. Once processed, the offer will complete and place the Credits as pending in your Rewards Account, where they will be available for Review on your MyRewards page. They will then be deposited in the next available scheduled deposit
cycle, and placed as currency in your Microsoft Account.

I tell you in advance so that there are no misunderstandings, this is a public forum for user-to-user support. We are users who help other users. We do not work for Microsoft and do not have access to any user accounts.

That's correct, you do not receive reward points for purchasing game add-ons. You will only receive reward points for purchasing full games.

In the case of Avatar Frontiers of Pandora, the game was released on March 25, 2023. If you purchased the game before March 25, you may have received reward points. However, if you purchased the game after March 25, you will not receive reward points.

In the case of Destiny 2 Lightfall, the game will be released on August 24, 2023. If you purchase the game before August 24, you may receive reward points. However, if you purchase the game after August 24, you will not receive reward points.

If you want to make sure you receive reward points for purchasing a game, you can check the Xbox rewards page before making your purchase. The rewards page will display all games that award reward points.

Here are some tips to get reward points for purchasing games:

Buy new and popular games. New, popular games typically award more reward points than older or less popular games.

Buy games on the Xbox Store. Games purchased from the Xbox Store earn more reward points than games purchased from other stores.

Buy games with an Xbox Game Pass subscription. Games purchased with an Xbox Game Pass subscription also earn reward points.

You can earn Xbox Live Rewards Credit in two ways:

1. By finishing the offers located on the MyMissions page at
https://rewards.xbox.com/mymissions/ .

-or-

2. For non-offer purchases, you can earn Credits by earning a one star MyVIP level through purchasing at least $300 USD or regional equivalent of eligible content. After you receive your first star you will begin to earn a percentage of your eligible purchases
back as MyVIP payback Rewards Credit. Pre-orders, in-game consumables, and subscriptions are not eligible for MyVIP.

In September 2014 we changed to the MyVIP policy. As a result, payback based off Gamerscore (MyAchievements) was discontinued. Also, as mentioned in our pinned announcement at the top of the forums titled "HEY
YOU! We've got your answer here." (https://forums.xbox.com/en-US/thread/2f5ffacb-bf1e-4fca-8764-f57f69556e55), we no longer award Credits for Xbox Live Gold renewals
as of July 2014.

MyVIP had a recalibration for the last few years. At the end of the year, we place you in your MyVIP rank for the new year based off your eligible spending from the previous year, and set your progress to the default state. This happened in September 2015
and December 2016. We did not recalibrate this year (December 2017). Since you are a zero star member, you do not get payback Credits on your purchases. You can check your current MyVIP level/progress at (https://rewards.xbox.com/myrewards/).

Furthermore, we see multiple Credit and deposit events for your account. You can see a complete history of your Credit and deposit events from the MyStatement on the MyRewards page. You can then use the dates listed for your deposits to see their deposit
as currency from your commerce page at (https://commerce.microsoft.com/), where they will be listed as a refund with a negative amount.

Payouts don't happen instantly, they give them around the beginning of the month, and only once you've built up 100 or more.
