Receiving notifications for users I'm no longer friends or a follower of

Hey guys,

I removed a user from my friends and unfollowed the user many months ago now, but I continue to receive notifications when they're Active etc?

I've even blocked the user to see if that helps - it doesn't :/

So I went onto the chat with another Xbox gamer who pointed me towards all the methods I've already tried to resolve this.

Unsure at this point and hopefully someone may have an idea or have come across this before?

Do you ever send them a message? I think if you do it automatically unblocks them.

There are no longer friend requests on Xbox One. People may follow you but if you receive messages you can do the following...

A) specify from whom you can receive messages

B) specify if you want on-screen notifications for messages, in general.

You can't (AFAIK) specify whose messages you get on-screen notifications for, though.

So, you can either turn off notifications and then just check messages inbox periodically for those from friends (or from LFG, when you're expecting them), or disable messages from everyone but friends. Either
should solve what you're after, but with different trade-offs.

Same probleme there, clearing the cache, settings is ok, deleted account, factory settings reboot, reset my network, nothing no notification is popping. ( sry for the bad english i am French )

Also, what's the notification? A message from a friend?
When did you received this notification? Today?
