    Receiving Error 0x8027025A for All Games/Apps


    Hello all. Beginning last night, none of my games or apps will start, always stating that they have taken "too long to start" and giving me the error code 0x8027025A. This also goes for system apps like Settings. I tried moving some of my games from my
    external HDD to the internal drive, but the same error was given for "StorageManagement". I have restarted my Xbox multiple times by holding down the power button and unplugging it from the outlet, but the issue persists. I have an original Xbox One 500GB
    model from year 1, which might be relevant to the problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hmm, I tried that and it fixed the problem for a few hours, but I'm now getting the error again. I used the "reset and keep my games & apps" option, so do you think I need to use the "reset and remove everything" option instead? I figure it wouldn't matter
    as I have all my games on an external, but the support page recommends only doing that as a last resort.

    Hey man, since the update I'm having the same issues, tried various resets also and nothings working. Xbox is performing very sluggish also, takes like 5 minutes to power on and load up the home screen and to load anything up at all. Also got the same
    model xbox as you.

    This is the general code for anything on your xbox that is not/ has taken too long loading. If clearing your cache did not work (powercycling and unplugging) then you may need to reset your console back to initial factory settings.... good to hear you have
    your games on external storage.

    hope this helps. I also used to get this issue on my xbox one day one edition then bit the bullet and got an xbox one x. Nil issues since. Perhaps yours will last until the series x release
