Receiving 6 digit authentication code when only a 4 digit code is accepted

I have been trying to make a new Microsoft account with an alternate e-mail address, the process went well until the e-mail verification
I received an e-mail containing a 6 digit code, which is pretty standard, but when I copy-pasted it to the corresponding box, it says that I should type a "4 digit code", which I do not have
The same thing happens when using a phone number
I receive the 6 digit code on a message, but it requires a 4 digit code
Ultimately making me unable to create an account whatsoever

Hi All I'm having the same problem with the mobile phone being sent 6 numbers code instead of 4 numbers is this new thing cannot receive rewards notifications.

I received an email with my $10 gift card with a 9 digit alpha numeric format but the redeem token page it links me to only accepts 25 digit numeric codes.

You received a disc copy of Gears of War 4? If so, the codes should be located in the case if the bundle you purchased was specially marked. In order to receive the Gears of War 4 codes over Xbox Live, you would need to redeem a digital code for Gears of
War 4, or would have had to purchase digitally through the Xbox Store. If you did redeem a Gears of War 4 code for the
digital version, then Smwutches is correct that you will receive the codes within 30 days of the code redemption date.

Please let us know if it is not digital so we can further narrow this down!

Is says sign in and go to a link but it doesn't ask me for the 8 digit code

I have an 8 digit cod and there is only a 6 and 10 digit code box

It's a 25 digit codes they accept

However if it's a 16 digit code you want to read the rest of the card

Usually those types of codes can only be redeemed on certain websites

Like ms store if that's where you got the codes etc
