    My XBOX One will not join parties or create parties.

    The error code is 0x89231906 when I tested my multiplayer connection it told me something about a Teredo Ip. Please help.

    i got the error code 0x89231906 well trying to join a friends party chat i atomaticaly disconnect.

    I recently had a problem with Xbox One giving me an error code that prevented me from chatting in game or in party chat. I looked all over the web for advice and found little help. I stubbled across what fixed it for me and I hope this serves others well.
    After checking pretty much everything, I tested the multiplayer from the network settings. It said it had a problem with the "Teredo IP". I have an Apple AirPort Extreme but I'm sure this may be of help to others of other router makes. I found in the router
    settings a box to enable "Teredo tunnel". Thats it!!! Updated the router settings and everything is fine. Hope this helps.

    ive got the same issue. I went to my network stats on my console and then went offline then back on and it says I've got a strict NAT type which should be open. Then I went off then back on and said it was open. This could possibly be your issue too. It
    seems to have worked for me.

    I am connected wireless through boingo, and I can't reboot the router because i'm in a military barracks, and the router doesn't seem to be in my room.

    And as of just now, the game chat disconnectes every now and then, and can't seem to stay connected to my buddy now.
