Received an 8 day ban for calling someone a "retard"

Since I wasn't able to submit a review I am resorting to this, I have recently been banned for 8 days for calling someone a "retard" in a message after over voice he continuously harnessed me, (mind you i retaliated through chat aswell), now I would understand
a 1 day ban, but 8 days for saying 1 word? I have had previous enforcement actions, one was which for a gamertag "yeastycameltoe" mind you Microsoft had allowed me to switch it to that and then that night I signed back on to see it changed. I am asking for
a review through this since as stated above I wasn't able to apply for one it just kept bringing me back to the main page where it says "view enforcement history"

Repeated communication suspensions typically result in longer sentences.

Suspensions are not modified or otherwise resolved here on the forums, as the Enforcement team does not post here.

You will need to log on to http://enforcement.xbox.com, check your Enforcement history, and submit a case review as your appeal (if eligible).

 

Got communications banned for calling someone a retard

I got communications banned by a person named [Mod Removed]. The reason I called him that was because I was playing rainbow six siege and him and a few other people were teamkilling me constantly to the point where I couldn't have fun and play the game.
Then at the near end of the game trig teamkilled me again and got kicked from the game for teamkill and I sent him a message saying "karma [Mod Removed]". Next he sent me an invite and i said "i'm not joining a [Mod Removed]".Then after that he starts spamming
me with party invites saying "join". But I didn't because i knew he was going to trash talk. Next day I get a seven day communication ban. Now I can understand that that is technically hate speech, but 7 days is a bit extreme for "[Mod Removed]" I have said
something way worse a few months back and only got a one or two day communication ban so the fact I got seven days for in comparison light hate speech is kind of unfair and if I can't remove it, I want it shortened because seven days for that is unfair.

 

The enforcement team does not use the forums. If the enforcement site is giving you issues, try clearing your browser's cookies/cache or try another browser. Submitting a case review is the only way to contact the enforcement team. Suspension length can
vary depending on severity of the situation as well as any previous actions on your account.

It could be that your suspension has nothing to do with what you mention. I would expect you would receive a communications ban for something like that. You have to remember that enforcement receives thousands of complaints each day, and every one has to
be investigated before they act on them. I would expect that your suspension was for some other infraction that you received a complaint on.
