Received $5 Code for Signing up for 3 Month Gold Promotion.

I was redirected to the Rewards forum by a customer service representative after explaining a problem other people seem to be having with getting the wrong gift code amount for signing up with Xbox Live Gold, only to be redirected here again afterwards.
I signed up for 3 Months, which was supposed to receive a $10 code, but I was only given a $5 code in my message box. Apparently, I'm supposed to wait until a moderator sees this message to contact me further about the situation, and I know other people are
having this issue.

Wrong Amount of Money via Gift Code After Signing up For Gold.

I saw a promotion on Xbox 360 saying that if I signed up with Xbox Live Gold now, I could get up to $15 in gift code credit. I saw that one month gave $5, 3 months gave $10, and 12 months gave $15. They had advised that it would take up to four weeks for
it to be sent to my inbox, and I had just received the message today. I signed up for 3 months of Gold, and they only gave me a code for $5. Where'd the other $5 go?

Wrong promotion

I purchased xbox live 3 month subscription along with GTA 5 shark card code as a promotion and I never received it in received a code for minecraft instead....I have not used the code for minecraft because I rather have the GTA 5 promotion instead.

This weekend end there was a promotion sign up for six month gold and receive 5 free games. We're or how do I retrieve the 5 free games?

The 3-month code was meant to be sent out by Email is it in your inbox?

I too have this same issue and was told to post here after contacting support.

Promotion was buy 3 months of gold, get 3 months free. The 3 Free months were to be received within 10 days from purchase.

Received a code via email the following day (with no indication of how many months of fold it was for.)

Waited 10 days, no secondary code/redemption instructions received.

Redeeming the initial code, only gives 3 months of gold, not the 6 that stated in the promotion.

It has been well past the 10 days since purchase, and the free 3 months is no where to be seen.

Before it's asked, spam and junk mail has been checked. Outside of the initial purchase email/code, nothing relating to the order or promotion has been received.

Support seems unable to help beyond telling people with this issue to post here.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Typically the promotions take something like 30 days (or some amount of time) before you receive your promotional bonus. How long ago did you purchase the 3 month code? If it was today, then you typically have a few days to wait
before you will get the additional 3 months. It should be mentioned in the terms and conditions of the promotion you signed up for.
