Reccomending Playstation-4 to people because of X-Box problems.

I'm new to the gaming scene now (Grew up playing arcade games) with these new platforms & I bought an X-box from "EB-Games" back in June. Since then I've had problems with 3 consoles & I now own a 4th console which I bought from a real retail shop. Two weeks
ago I bought some V-Bucks & downloaded "Gears Of War-4". Guess what..?? The game wouldn't let me do anything once it was installed because it couldn't reach the server..!!!!

My other game "Far Cry-5" also can't reach the server. I can still play the game however; I've earned all these perks so I could go online & use extra content but the console won't let me. I just wasted $39:95 on a "PUBG" & $80:00 to go on X-Box Live for
12 Months & the console won't let me do anything. I can't even get in to my own settings to change anything. Now I see an alert message telling me you're trying to fix the issues & you're thanking us for being patient..?!?!? I've paid good money for something
that doesn't work & you don't want me using profanities..?!?!? Can you anyone tell me how long this issue is going to take (An estimation would be good), or do we just carry on using a purchased product that doesn't work properly..?!?!?

Is this issue just happening in NZ (New Zealand) or is it happening everywhere else in the world..?!?!? Or is it just happening to me..?!?!?!? Everyone I know on Playstation aren't having any issues.

Manage Payment Options, Bunch of BS

This is why i'm going to Playstation, i tried to take my credit card off X-box live and I had to go through 30 mins of BS just to take off one card, I was all about X-box over P.S. 3 / P.S. 4 but now i'm 100% Playstation because X-box tries to take my money
anyway they can. If I want to spend MY money then let me spend it, but don't try and make me! Besides it hurts me to say this but at least Playstation puts time and money into their systems, X -box graphics suck compared to Sony.

The info I get is that everyone is bashing x box 1 and microsoft. They announced prices. X Box 1 $499.99

Playstation 4 $399.99.

 

There is a service alert for purchasing content but it sounds like something else is going on. You mention it won't let you change settings locally? What does it say exactly in the menus?

 

I'm not having that issue here in the United States.

If you've not already tried a
manual physical power cycle on the console. It couldn't hurt to give that a try.

If the issues continue, I would suggest that you reach out to
Xbox Support.
