Reason for Xbox live suspension

My sons account has been suspended for a day and i have spent hours trying to get someone to tell me what his suspension is for.

I dont want xbox enforcement to parent my son without telling me what he has done.

If he has done something inappropriate, i want to know so i can act on it.

Eventually i have been told to write on here and the xbox enforcement team will reply.

My principal Xbox Live Account ( GT : InFiniTy n1 ) was suspended for no reason! I just reply to people who insult me. I'm okay to be banned temporarly for XBL communication but not suspended! I'm a Xbox Live customer from +10 years and buy so many things
on this account!! ( packs FUT on FIFA, skins and DLC on Gears of war, Call of duty etc.. ) It's not acceptable and I wan't recover my Xbox live account.

did you receive a notification in the form of a message sent to your son? they generally send one which details the offense . look on your outlook.com profile and it should state there aswell. then you can contest the offense should it be unjust or atleast
be given the knowledge of what is going on with the profile

You can check your son's Xbox conversations to see whether he was involved in some arguments.

You can go to Xbox Enforcement | Reputation and login with your son's profile and in the right section can see in what categories your son was reported.
You should be able to find more information on that enforcement site.

I am struggling to see conversation history.

Logged on and all i can see is a 1 day suspension that cannot be contested.

Not looking to contest, just want to know what hes done or supposed to have done.

Unfortunately the Enforcement team does not use these forums.

The ONLY way to contact the Enforcement team is through their website enforcement.xbox.com and through the Case review process

Suspensions that are for short periods of time (normally around 24 hours) are not eligible for case review since by the time the enforcement team reinvestigates the report the suspension will be over.

How accounts get suspended. (this is an example and not necessarily what you son did NO ONE here in the forums can tell you exactly what your son did ONLY someone from the enforcement team can.

1. Something is done to violate the code of conduct which can be read Here (For example a message was sent to another player with a curse word in it.)

2. That other player then pushes a button to report that message to the enforcement team.

3. The enforcement team investigates the report to determine if it was a violation of the code of conduct.

4. If there was a violation the enforcement team will then put a suspension onto the account.

5. If there was not a violation they will mark that and a FALSE report and if the person that made the false report gets to many they could get into trouble with the enforcement team also.

Again this is just an example and ONLY the enforcement team would know the exact reasoning why an account is suspended.

 

I am disgusted rhat i have spent the past 90 minutes trying to speak to someone.

My son has been suspended and we dont know why he is 10 years old i want to know for what reason! You have no contact numbers available or give any explanation this is a joke!

 

The Enforcement team does not have any other method to contact them except for the case review process. Single-day suspensions are not eligible for review as they are considered minor, first-time offenses (like a timeout or being sent to their room). I would
encourage that you and your child review the
Xbox Live Code of Conduct before they are allowed back on Xbox Live.

Sounds like it's a temporary suspension, then as the title implies it's only temporary and the account will have it's privileges restored once the suspension is over.

When XBLPET issues an enforcement action, an
email message is automatically sent to the address associated with your Xbox Live account. If you are using a child account, an email is also sent to the Microsoft Account associated with your parent or guardian. Each
email message explains that the account was subject to enforcement action and links to pages that provide additional information. (You may also receive a notification on the consoles messages)

(Tap the Xbox home button in the middle of the control>scroll to the right till you see Messages/Communication> then you can review any messages you see.)
