Actually my current favourite console is doing very well. Xbox 360 on 81.11 million units globally.

Maybe I am a sheep that was clearly sold on media propaganda.

Week ending February 8th 2014:

Playstation 4 sold 57,055 units in Europe

Xbox One sold 12,212 units in Europe

Playstation 4 sold 4x the amount of Xbox One's plus an additional 8,197 units on top!

And it gets worse......

Week ending February 15th 2014:

Playstation 4 sold 57,200 units in Europe

Xbox One sold 10,562 units in Europe

Playstation 4 sold 5x the amount of Xbox One's plus an additional 4,390 units on top!

Those 2 weeks make up the first half of February. Figures for the next 2 weeks (weeks ending February 22nd and March 1st) will be released soon and give us the whole complete score for the month.

Should also be noted that Europe is the second most important market (after USA) for Xbox hardware sales. Europe catered for 32% of the Xbox 360s total lifetime success.....with the USA making up the biggest share of 56% and the rest of the world accounting
for the remaining 12%. Since the UK is the biggest European country for Xbox hardware sales, kind of paints the picture.

Well I certainly dont see Microsoft hyping up any future releases where they expect to see a massive growth in Xbox One sales....unlike Sony who did with Japan.

 

The point is mate that no one cares how the playstation is doing. Nor that it's doing better. The only thing we care about is that our console of choice, the xbox one, is selling well. Whether it's selling as well as the competition is of no relevance. Besides,
it's against forum rules to post comparison threads. And this is clearly a comparison thread about the two consoles.

How many times do we all have to go over this, the PlayStation 4 is available in 48 countries worldwide and the Xbox One is available in 13 countries worldwide hence the difference in numbers.

 

The only reason Xbox one got a price cut in UK is to have trolls jumping on Xbox forum and makes silly threads/posts....And it works....

The trolls threads/posts increase of 50% last 24 hours,it was around 20% during Titanfall beta.

With several news coming this week (Plants vs Zombies :GW,Twitch,Update beta,...) ,it should increase around 65 % by the end of the week,and with the release of Titanfall (march 11th/13th) it might be around 87%.....

 

Actually a lot of important people care. Especially third party developers who make very popular big selling multi platform games. Games like Tomb Raider and Metal Gear Solid V that get the special treatment on the best selling platform.

 

The way I see it in terms of PS4 Vs Xbox One launch sales is bad. But Xbox 360 Vs Xbox One launch sales is amazing, even more so for a console that hasn't been fully released in Europe yet.

 

I don't know about that. Tomb raider looked pretty special to me!

 

Way things are looking, about 87% of the copies Titanfall sells will be the 360 version.

 

Tzar the only reason there will be a troll increase when titanfall comes out is because we will be all to busy playing it to come to the forums. Trolls will be the only thing left on here.

 

Rubix that's only because the 360 has a bigger install base at the moment. Your logic is not very smart my friend!

 

I'm sorry mate but the 'special treatment' deals are paid for by the platform holder not by how many consoles sold
