Really weird problem with Xbox one s

My controller’s left analog sick drifts but the problem goes away after a few days or a day sometimes. It has come but a few times but the weird also at random thing my right analog sick has completely stopped working from moving to right to left.And
when I tried to use a different controller the right analog sick still didn’t work the problem went away again. So am guessing it’s my console what do you guys or girls think I should do? Or maybe what the problem is? Oh and the problem with the left analog
sick does not go to my other controller like when my right analog sick stopped working

Thank you for coming to the Xbox forums. I'd be happy to help you troubleshoot this issue.

In order to rule out the console as the issue, maybe due to a bad signal transmitter, I recommend doing some basic troubleshooting.

[*]Go ahead and do a
hard reset and power cycle. Hold down the power button on the console for about 10 seconds until it shuts down and then remove the power cable from the Xbox and the power outlet for about 2-3 minutes. Then re-connect and
turn on the Xbox.
[*]If that doesn't help then you will need to try out a
soft factory reset.

Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
Select System > Settings > System > Console info.
Select Reset console.

Make sure to select "Keep my games & apps" and have the correct account login information plus your WIFI password ready if you connect wireless because you will need to re-add the account's that were on the Xbox and re-connect to your network during the
reset.

If your controllers continue to experience issues with the sticks, whether navigating the menus or playing games, then I would recommend trying another console if accessible. The sticks could just be getting worn out and occasionally drifting.

If you play first person games try looking into increasing the dead-zone settings and see if that makes a difference.

My controllers drifted too. However, (even though it sounds stupid) blowing into the analog stick seemed to work for me. I don't know how, but it worked.

When trying to fix mine, I saw some people suggesting rubber bands, banging the controller against walls etc. I wouldn't recommend it, especially banging the controller against walls, since it could break the controller.

Really weird :s Downloaded it yesterday, they give you a small patch (5Mo) before you can play it, than I played it with no problem.

Didin't work for me. Still says on my friends friendlist that I'm playing ME3. Tried everything several times, even other profiles and nothing works. Tomorrow I'm to back to PS3 only, not going to buy new Xbox for something they messed up when live went
down....
