Really weird and frustrating problem- XB1 will install and play some of my discs and won't...

If they do work on your friends console and not on yours. Try uninstalling the blu ray app. Once it uninstalled go and clear persistent storage. Go to settings>disc and blu ray>blu ray>persistent storage clear. Power cycle the console after clearing the
persistent storage. Once you turn it back on then install the blu ray app again and try the 3 discs that don't work.

Try performing a hard reset EXACTLY like this. Hold the power button on the console for 8 seconds or until the power shuts down completely. Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes. Plug the power cord back in and restart
the console.

If that doesn't work then you should contact
Xbox Support regarding a possible repair.

I performed the hard reset exactly as you said, unfortunately it did not work.

What I don't understand is why does the Xbox still allow me to install and play some games from disc but not these 3 specific games. With 3 different error codes no less.

I'm going to take the games to a friends house and try them there. See if it's the discs or the xbox itself.

I had already tried that and it didn't work.

Just did it again, still hasn't worked.

Same error codes for each game. I'm going to let my friend try these discs tomorrow to see if it as disc reader issue or the discs themselves.

I don't think I will have broken all 3 brand new discs, they aren't scratched or anything and they did work just a few days ago.
