Really high latency on wired connection on xbox one.

Now detailed network stats is showing ping values ranging from 0ms-35ms for me.Other statistics in detailed network stats look normal for me like the download and upload speed which is usally around 15mb and 0.5mb respectively. Packet loss also looks okay.
Will see if the issue pops up again later.I'm not sure if the weird internet outage I had a few days ago changed anything with my connection.

 

I checked mine too while I was home for lunch. Everything seemed back to normal. I'm still having some underlying issues with my ISP though. Glad yours is back to normal, TC. Please post back if online seems to work fine for you when you try it, so I know

Shinobi, the upstream light on my modem was green, not blue. So I'm having upstream issues. I'm going to have to get another tech out. For the third time. I would recommend you contact them and ask them to check your signal levels. I use the Mediacom Internet
Support Forum. Much better than the phone reps.

 

I may give that a try. Both my upstream and downstream lights are blue. Packet loss has been a thorn in my side since the beginning but usually only 4 or 5%

 

It looks like my latency has skyrocketed again, but I'm not sure if the current issues with the xbox live servers have made the latency increase again.

 

Now I'm noticing that after playing a few matches in halo 5 that the ping on the detailed network statistics skyrockets to above 1000ms while the upload and download speed drop significantly. I'm not sure if other people on their laptops or other devices
surfing the web or watching videos is causing my ping to skyrocket and my upload and download to drop significantly .

 

i always have 20mb down and 10up and 160ms i live in colombia... 160ms... xbox do not care about Latin america servers..

 

I have Comcast tried to contact xbox however no response my dl speed goes from 125 to 1 mbs and I hhave seen packet loss of 4 percent latency 200 and up what is going o?

 

I'm in Chicago with a Comcast business connection and having a similar latency issue on the XBone. Speed test over wifi shows my latency at 10 -12ms on my phone and computer, but my wired Xbone is showing 400ms. Any ideas beside power cycling my modem, router,
etc.? I've done that several times with no success.

 

well unfornatly I been doing a project recently and about to share it with everyone here thank you.

At home on my main account and Xbox one I get 123 latency 98-115 ping and 80 down and 10 up. Now I went to a family's house where they have good internet to completely my project. I get here and hook everything up do a test and I get. 86 latency 40 down
and 5 up. And !(40 ping)! I jump on rain bow 6 Sige and play for like 2 hours just because I was doing good guess what happens. My screen flickers and suddenly my latency is 123 with 100 ping. In Sige 40 ping to server went to 64 like a home connection weird
right? Buts that's not it I borrowed my friends Xbox one with his account and hooked it up here and started playing just like I did before but my latency stayed around 80 and 40ping.

This being said I believe Microsoft does something to our connection since I find all of this to be true I think I'm selling my xbox one and not being a member of Xbox live anymore. How come My account gets **** connection where I can't have any fun just
die in game before somebody comes around the corner because my latency and ping. It's almost as if i have To create a new account every month I hope everyone found this useful good day

 

hard **** this if i cant find a REAL fix in a week ill b trading for ps4. because its ridiculous how my computers ping is around 30ms and my xbox ping is a consistent 160. Tried everyuthing possible and please mods dont tell me its my ISP or anything to
do with them its just this **** xbox one S EVEN and still ****. gotta normal xbox one in lounge still ****. Got a boarder who has ps4 ohh **** he has the same ping as my computer and phone ranging 30 - 60ms. i really dont wanna go to ps4 but im not gonna
play with this half a second lag in games, its too **** annoying
