I actually feel for you mate, I had a cap of 100gb once upon a time and it just wasn't enough, always having to watch out at the end of the month and that was before this current generation of gaming!

 

Caps really do suck ..I just had to upgrade my plan because of caps!

It was 250 GB but now with all the kids on thier phones and video streaming we upgraded to the highest they offer...700 GB a month for 70/15 for 60 bucks a month ,,thought that was insane and i had it bad but after reading your issues i feel bad for ya ..That
really sucks!

 

Come to Australia were our biggest telco advertises a 3GB cap on mobile/cell to be huge!

 

3Gb is pretty big for mobile mine is 10 but shared with 3 other people

 

I'm from Australia and I consider my 3.2GB data for my phone pretty big, I mean it's only for the phone so I'm not sure why I would want more.

They actually gave me 30gb in one month for 'piece of mind' when I updated my plan and that was just over kill, I leave apps constantly signed in as well and it's amazing how much data it doesn't use. Watching videos seem to be the only thing that really
chews it up.

 

Couldn't imagine being capped. Think our house did over 600GB last month, and tbh that was a pretty steady month for us lot.

 

Thanks for the replies. I only got to midnight on the 22nd until it resets. It could always be worse though. My friend pays $48.00 for unlimited 1.5Mb/1Mb/s; the best he can get. The only problem with his is the fact he barely gets .750Mb/s-.4Mb/s with a
ping of sometimes over 200ms, and that's when it's working; he seems to be down every three days.

I just do not get it... I have no cap.. $140 a month for phone/internet/cable with no cap with 101/50 speeds, 4 premium cable channels.. unlimited wifi that connects at 40/20 even on my crappy Nokia Windows phone..Can someone explain to me why this is not
standard for everyone?

 

Well, the rest of the world doesn't necessarily have Cheetos either.

 

Some people choose to live in areas that have poor internet available, some even live in areas with no cell coverage. Choices, we all gotta make them. Hope your ISP opens up a little on those caps.

Some people have no choice but to live in "poor" areas, Some people live in countries who's governments are still riding off the boom off the internet as a new and wonderful thing. Recently I went to PNG, people had phones and internet yet lived in huts
with open fire for cooking, I enjoyed my unlimited internet for 2 weeks and still have $10 credit.
