Real unusual problem connecting to my friend Please help.

For about 2 months i have been having an unusual connection issue (Equipment specifications below) on my xbox one.

The issue is i cannot play games with only one of my friends. We cannot even join each others party.

The only time when we can be in a party together is if a third person invites us to their party

but when we are all connected both me and my friend can hear and talk to the third person but cannot

talk to each other. The third person has to relay any verbal messages between us. Even when we are in

a party (3 of us) i cannot join any game that my friend is associated with. On very rare occasions we can

play together without any issue.very rare. Both our Nats are open and our latency and detailed network statistics

(under XB1 Home > settings > network >Detailed network statistics) are all were they are supposed to be.

in mind we can both play and chat with Anyone other than our selves. While all this is happening our NATS are open!

My friend and i have been working on this together and this is what we have done

opened all required ports for XB1 via port forwarding

wired our xboxs to our gateways

enable DMZ with specified ip from xb1

changed firewall setting to low and off

enable UPnP

reset all moduals and factory settings and attempted settings once more with no resolve.

hard reset xbox several ways

Although this problem has been going on for 2 months , this past two weeks while playing destiny when i enter the game and

it alerts me saying That i may experience problems becasu my NAT is set to strict or moderate. (howver i never experience

problems connecting to games) Yet MY xbox says its open and my gateway settings are good to go. Even with this message i

can play with anybody except my friend. The alert i recived from destiny leads me to belive i still have an issue with my nat.

i can play cod and other games with no matchmaking issues as long as my buddy isnt playing with me. so who knows. any help would be awesome

Cant connect to Internet

Hey friends,

My Xbox 360 s is connecting to my modem but not to the Internet , I thought the problem was with my console, but today I tried connecting it to my neighbors Internet it worked, could someone please help me? I live in Saudi Arabia and I have a mobily 4g router.

 

I can't play games with friends on Xbox live

Hey there, I've been having problems connecting with friends on ultimate team. I can't seem to get connected to them. I have an Xbox one s and even though my friends have the old Xbox one I don't think that should be a problem. Can someone please help me
solve this problem.

 

This sounds like an interesting issue. Have you or your friend accidentally Avoided each other? Try sending a message to each other to see if that helps.

As for not hearing each other in parties, check to see if either of you have the other muted. You can check this in a party by clicking on your gamertag. The option to mute will be in the drop down menu.

One other thing to try would be for both of you to delete your gamertags from the console, restart it by holding the power button on the console for 10 seconds and then redownloading it.

 

Will deleting the profile delete my saved games and game data?

 

Delete only the profile and make sure that if there is an option to delete everything that you do not pick it.
