Real Time Strategy Game (RTS)

Does anyone know when the next RTS game is coming out for Xbox One? There hasn't been one yet and I loved those... the type of games like Command and Conquer or the LOTR RTS that was on the 360... any ideas?

RTS Games and control pads

Wasteland 2 and Divinity Original Sin are NOT Real Time Strategy games. They are Turn Based RPG's.

Real Time Strategy games are, Halo Wars, Command & Conquer, Supreme Commander and R.U.S.E. and IMO they control horribly with controllers on Xbox. Just stick to PC for RTS games. AI War: Fleet Command is my favorite RTS game of all time. I have 400+ hours
on Steam.

While Civilization: Revolution is a great game, it isn't a real time strategy game, as it is turn based.

 

On AAA games side,nothing has been announced yet.Maybe a Halo wars 2 in the future.....

On indies games side,don't know much what games are coming but that's maybe the only ones who got "guts" and freedom to release a RTS on Xbox one....

 

Command & Conquer or Halo Wars 2 would be awesome. But I love me some C&C.

 

George Bush does not care about RTS's! Neither do game developers obviously..just trying to milk the next over exhausted fps.

 

Tropico 5 would be great as well but this isn't really a RTS.

C&C games on the 360 were my favorites. Red Alert being the best one with really great controls.

Sadly I don't think there will be any RTS in the near future for X1. As Tzar mentioned, best Chance some Indie developer will release one.

 

Battle For Middle Earth 3! Pleeeaaassseee? It works so well on console!

 

It would be awesome if they could port over Starcraft and bundle everything as a ultimate eddition.

 

Tropico 5 would be awesome! Unfortunately they aren't making it for the One. =/ (Yea, I know it's not an RTS)

I would love to see another Civilization Revolution type game on the One. I thought that game was amazing. I'm not really a RTS fan, but I prefer the turn-based strategy games.

 

Yes please give us a RTS for the Xbox1 like BFME3 or Starcraft.

BFME3 worked great on the 360 which still ranks as one of my favorite games on xbox.

 

Battle for middle earth II was amazing on 360 and so was c&c just absolutely fun. I've been waiting to hear for an Xbox one RTS announcement but nothing yet, it makes me sad I hope they make one so bad!! And a starcraft port would be sick!!

Why play RTS on a console with inferior capabilities to micro manage and use multiple different hotkeys? Turn based games like Civilization would be nice to see, though. But those RTS games must be really dumbed down for the consoles...

BFME2 was amazing! I still play sometimes on PC but I would love a third on X1.

I used to spend hours on Red Alert with my friends and we would see who could keep the peace the longest. Wars were usually started by the building of super weapons or an army of engineers in sudden transports. The C&C games were all fun but RA3 was definitely
my favourite.

Halo Wars is another ive loved playing, though I do prefer free build as opposed to set bases.

CivRev is a game that has taken up alot of my time.. I love the diplomacy and I think it could be great on X1.

Its not an RTS I know but Battlefronts Galactic Conquest mode was great fun. Im looking forward to the third!

Id love to see a strategy game that allowed you to build up your empire and armies but also let you explore that empire those units. BFME heroes were so fun to control; Gimli's leap will never get old. I love the Battlefront hero system too. Luke... I was

Anyways I hope some RTS games come to X1 and I have faith cause a lot of players want them.
