I'm sure I'll have that moment where I'll forget about this feature and then one day some stranger will say, "Hey, Evan, nice game!" And I'll be like "Who are you and how do you freaking know me fool!"

 

I might try it, but even when I'm playing on a screen next to someone I know if we're playing online with other people we use our gamertag names. Been using them online so long seems weird unless we're the only two in the party or game.

 

I do that too with my real life gamer friends.

 

One of my closest friends on Live calls me Doc, and she's known me for years (as well as my first name). Same with others.

 

If I share it with everyone, I'll only use my 1st name, much like I already do on the Xbox 360. Besides, Keith (my real name) sounds phonetically similar to Geek in some ways.

 

Hi Keith lol. I really hope they bring Bio/Name/Location/Motto fields to Xbox 1 cuz your profile looks like a piece of paper on the Xbox 1 console and it's available on xbox.com and Xbox 360 and Xbox 360 smartglass. You can change your privacy settings to
Blocked, Friends Only, and Everyone. On Google, Xbox 360, Facebook they offer you fields to add such info to your profile. So don't see why it isn't on Xbox 1 (unless they added it recently or plan to soon would be great). Cloud wanted to be friends with me
cuz I commented how no one sent me an April Fools Joke its M's birthday and he sent me that. He's on my Xbox 1 friends list and we both have full 360 friends list so have 101 Xbox friends. He doesn't appear on my 360 friends list though and only peps on my
360 friends list can view this stuff. You're probably recognize my first name on my Youtube channel which so far have only shared the channel details to a few close friends. Some of my friends said OMG you're friends with an Xbox moderator. I don't share even
my first name on the forums cuz there are some who will abuse it and strangers will find out and if it gets out of hand I just report it. But if were friends and play on the console and are respectful I'll share it.

 

I look forward to the time I can see everyone in a game lobby and know they are all called Dave(or derivatives of), that would make my day(only if done randomly)

I might use this feature to spin a few heads. Change my name to some GTs lol Joke joke, I will probably use it, I do too, wonder if they expand on how much a user wants to share though.

 

Why the hell was I FORCED to enter my real name into the xbox?

Why the hell is my name now plastered over everything on the xbox?

 

account verification... ever hear of it?

and I love reading these old posts again.... then think about now and how things are and go back read what people said... Do it sometimes guys... some funny stuff, all the references to other consoles and such....
