If you watched the Major Nelson video about the June update. It was explained how the feature would work from the standpoint of current friends and followers. The followers would only get to see your name when the friend request
process was completed. Also, in the video you can see from Major's friend list, both the GT and real name shows up.

 

If you can't figure out my name then I would be a little worried. (i am suprised by the number of people that call me enen or boy though)

Even if I know your name I will call you by your GT online, or part of it, in the same way on a CB you get called by your handle.

I won't be displaying my name, its simply not needed

 

So, for clarification, is it Dave, David, or Davey?

Honestly, I don't think it's anyone's business what my real name is. Even all my co-workers just call me , or Sword for short. It's nothing personal, I just don't trust any of you. I'll never tell anyone that my real name is John Vazquez.

I have had people defrend me once they find out i am a guy and that Mia is an Acronym for Missing in Action.

 

For some reason I thought Sword Style was going to say, "You can call me Shepard."

 

My name bio online status and friends list is only viewable on peps on my 360 friends list. Cloud us on my xbox 1 friend list but because of the system hes not on my 360 friends list cuz both our 360 lists are full. My parents taught me not to reveal personal
stuff to stangers thats why. What I dont get is since cloud is on my xb1 list why xbox.com says add friend he isnt a follower.
