I think AR will be the one take off then the VR. Due to it hologram. But by the time it get to it height of it existed. It be more powerful then the first hololens that MS made.

Well with Zony bringing a VR set in Oct of this year with a reasonable price point and 250+ developers including some big name studios allegedly developing for it, it could be a market changer.

@goat its to sterile over there, for all this forum is dead it still goes up in flames on a regular basis lol.

Got mine on pre order, and there selling out extremely fast, current forecast is 8m sold in 24 month.

@Jambo. I wish the Oculus and Vive was along the same price, my pc is more than capable but I ain't willing to drop that much cash on a peripheral.

Yeah I'm most likely going to wait till its used throughout rts/4x, would love to be able to look across the battlefield instead of having to scroll, the X games would be pretty sweet aswell, by then it should have come down a bit in price at least.

I'm hoping that the PS VR is a major success, we may then see some big price drops with Oculus and Vive.

I'm pretty sure Sony is gonna push their first party's to produce the goods as early as possible, which is the only reason I'm picking one up, here's to hoping lol.

don't see anything of interest yet software wise, plus i'd like to have some hands on time with it, and then wait and see it's real-world performance before i consider buying one.

i also think it's funny how the internet blew up when the Kinect was a requirement, and so many people were going to Playstation because they didn't want a camera watching them... now all i see are people buying up the PS4 camera like they're going to sell
out.

^ its certainly not without its irony, that said theres 50 vr titles slated for this year and another 230 studios working on titles for it, ontop of the 20 non vr exclusives, its being supported if nothing else.

I'll be saving for PS VR next year, but I'll be picking up the camera this year. I've also heard all ps4 titles are supposedly compatible with it.

Had my eyes lasered 15 years ago, best money I ever spent! Go laser and VR it right up!

^Thinking I'd probably be told that's not an option. Toric vision, cataract / lens implant in one eye, previous laser surgery for retinopathy on both... lol Usually when I start asking my eye Doc about options other than glasses, I hear; "Your eyes are doing
very well all things considered. Most procedures are pretty low risk, but in your situation, I can't see taking it".
