Ready for Halo 5?

I decided to do a solo legendary run, so I'm just going to switch between YT and the game to get the skulls that don't require Olympic type feats to get, along the way. Who wants bothered having to shoot down ships, race against timers that don't even appear
on screen and do who knows what else to collect skulls, some of which are partially buried and even when fully exposed, are still small enough to walk right by in some cases... certainly not me. lol

The only ones I'm really interested in are IWHBYD, which I already have and one I forgot about until last night... Grunt Birthday Party, which will be easy enough to get. I'll probably just collect any others that 'spawn without requirement' along the way.
As for the rest, 343 can shove them where the sun doesn't shine. Yeah... I'm sure that may sound mean to some... but it really shouldn't be painful, considering all the bigger they are now. XD

I believe Halo Waypoint updated so it's ready for Halo 4.

 

Finished solo legendary last night and it's a shame I only really saw the point to Locke at the very last mission of the game and even then, I think it would have been better as Chief the whole way through, they really could have played on our emotions much
more.

Though it was a good story, best level design in a Halo game ever, I mean the environments were just so amazing and varied I can't say how on point all of them were and omg what they showed after the credits has my imagination going wild, I wonder if there
was a 'better' ending for legendary as they usually do?

Anyway, I will chip away at coop and MP, but taking a break for now to play Destiny again.

 

I started a Legendary solo run yesterday, and currently on mission 7.

Take this for what it's worth. I underestimated what the difference would between Heroic and Legendary. There is a significant difference between the two. Legendary, while doable, is not a walk in the park. Nor guess should it be. lol

 

@ Digital, Wait... you finished solo legendary and you're wondering if there was a 'better' ending? I assume you didn't wait until the credits finished then... I won't spoil anything, but wow... haunting is the first thought I had.

 

^So with every Halo when you complete legendary the ending is slightly different, so I believe Halo 4 you got to see the Chiefs eyes when he took off his helmet if I remember correctly, that's why I said 'better' because it's no necessarily better, but you
just get to see something more.

@Doc - It was actually one of the easier Halo's on legendary for me, they just flood you with weapons on the harder parts. mission 12 annoyed me the most because there weren't as many weapons around the map.

 

Yeah, my bad... after reading it, for some reason I thought you might have skipped the legendary ending since you asked if there was a better ending on legendary. It was a 'senior moment' and yes... I'm old enough to have them. lol Come to think of it...
I'm pretty sure I waited until after the credits on Heroic... and I don't recall seeing any extra clip? Like it just went back to the menus? Or am I reeeally having a senior moment? LOL

 

Haha, yeah all I meant was, did everyone see what I saw? Come to think of it, I may know the difference now (I'm only assuming though). I might have to boot up the last level on easy and just see what the ending is like after the credits. It really makes
you think what are they trying to hint at, I think I may have an idea though.

 

I actually think some of the other Halo's with the exception of H2 were easier. Now if they would flood me with sniper rifles, I'd be happy. Especially since the Prometheans have flooded themselves with one hit kill ability.

 

Are we allowed to make a post about the games ending? The title could be SPOILERS! Halo 5 ending SPOILERS! or something like that.

I need to talk about the ending before I become rampent!

started my legendary walkthrough smooth sailing so far on mission 6 and i gotta say the more i play this game the more i apreciate 343 and where there taking the series

It was just so awesome to explore everything, that's why my playthrough took so long, I would find that I spent an hour just wondering around, haha.

 

Just started yesterday and already on mission 11. So even though I think it's not a walk in the park, still getting through it pretty quickly.
