Reactivating Flght sim after a computer change

Based on your description, you are trying to reload Flight Simulator and you have to activate the code of your license. Let us check on this together so you will get back to gaming.

According to this support article from the game, you will need to install the English language pack for apps and websites before you install the game.

Followed by the installation of the game - Microsoft Flight Simulator will need access to Microsoft Store. If any case, you have not redeemed the code, you may redeem it through Microsoft Store app [Microsoft Store - How to redeem your Microsoft Flight Simulator code? – Microsoft Flight Simulator Support (zendesk.com)]. Please ensure you are signed into the correct Microsoft account by clicking your profile icon located at top right corner. Select Redeem code or gift cards and enter the 25-character code, and then select Redeem. Then, search for Microsoft Flight Simulator then click Install.

Had the same problem here's what I did:

-reactivate the old email account that was used for the parental controls

-change information on above email account including password so that you know it

-log into microsoft and recover account (instructions on recovery will be sent to the email account you just reactivated)

-after recovering microsoft parental account change password.

-use this new password with the reactivated email account for the parental controls

-after accepting the new terms you will b able to make changes to your live account including changing it to an adult account

I just tried it again after rebooting sim see how long it takes and again it started as in your picture with wrong time then i clicked on airport i want to depart from, select as departure and time changed immediately to local time at the departure airport,
but sometimes it takes a while. Seems like sim is not reading our computer time/location but it will change to local time once you select departure... the important part is weather then loads. Hope that helps

Had same problem. Finally restarted computer and flight sim loads no problem. It seems to me that this will happen if you visit the App store and games then later try and start the flight sim. So either restart your computer or stay away from the App store if you are going to load flight sim. Well MS will fix it one day.
