Re-sale games on Xbox store.

ZI doubt it would cost penny's. Because a disc doesn't cost that much to make. A physical disc doesn't add much or any value at all to this games. We aren't talking about retro gaming cartridges here. The fact that we buy everything online now. They can track the day we pay for the game and much the game was going for back then. And the fact that is not physical media. They dont have to be worrying if it's in pristine condition. The same way they are selling digital copies on some game for over $100 than we can get good money for them too. We aren't talking about Game Stop here that where literally stealing peoples money. Microsoft don't loose a single penny for letting us re-sale for credit to buy other games. Is not like they are putting the money back in your bank.

because you don't own the game, you only own the licence to play the game. they were going to allow the resell of game licences when the xbox one was first announced but due to the always on connecion etc etc the masses complained and it was scrapped, it was a huge disaster and probably will never see the light of day again.

besides if you could resell the digital licence you would get pennies for it as technically its worthless.

I can agree about the mess with the Xbox One. But Phil has turn the tables. I'm pretty sure this is something simple that can be introduced in this new gen. Something awesome and announced in the next show case for Xbox. It's also something Sony doesn't have, which it would be a plus on Xbox side if they do it.

For context sony increased the pricing of pan plus by 20

MS increased only because of the lack of 12momth memberships causing 3 months making 12 months more expensiver

You get a lot of them kn forums anti consumer protests on forums like people who don't understand how privacy settings solves harassment problems or worse how they have every right to retaliate and demand they get unbanned oh and how they never get feedback for their reports

I can definitely see this hurting game sales in the future . I buy digital games all the time, same with other people that don't want to have a whole stack of games collection dust on a shelve. It is a lot easier having everything on a HDD. But the fact that we can't return games for a price to trade for other games as I mentioned before, is a bad move for gaming. We have game pass witch is fine and all. But not every game is on game pass nor on any of the other subscription, and I definitely don't want to have the same games over and over. So those are sales that this game companies ain't getting. And I'm pretty sure I speak for a lot of Xbox gamers that love to own their games, not just have them on game pass. Microsoft really needs to add a re-sale feature. I guess I won't be playing the Ninja Gaiden Trilogy.
