  1. Re-opting in after country change

Hello posted recently about updating myrewards after changing countries, and I received this response:

    "Hello ,

I can confirm that it looks like your region migration is causing your issue. Since you registered into the program as a US Microsoft Account member, we created a US Rewards Account for you. When you changed to a UK Microsoft Account, your regions were no
longer matching, which causes an error to occur when we attempt to deposit USD into your Microsoft Account, which only accepts GBP. Furthermore, since you have a US Rewards Account, we can only Reward purchases made in USD.

If you wish to continue with Rewards in your current Microsoft Account region and create a new account, you must first close your current account by opting out of the program at (https://rewards.xbox.com/optout/).
You will have to wait 48 hours for us to receive and process your request, after which your account should show up as completely clean of progress and have a join by date of "???". At that point, you can create a new Rewards Account by signing back up again,
which can also take 48 hours. To confirm that you have re-registered correctly, you can check your join date from the MyRewards page at (Xbox Live Rewards).
If your join by date still shows "???", and not a recent registration date, then your account has not yet been re-registered.

If you open a new post after being able to log in to your new Rewards account, you can request any pending deposits from your old account to your new one. However, as this process closes out your US Rewards Account and creates an entirely new UK Rewards
Account, all your other progress will not be able to be transferred. The transfer will be relatively simple; just open up a new post when your process has completed, and we will confirm if your regions are correctly matching and start the transfer process.
Thanks for following up with us!"

I have followed this, but it has been over the 48hrs after opting back in and I still have "???" on my account. I wanted to check in and make sure everything was alright. And if so to notify you that I have and wanted my points forwarded on to my new account.

    :)

    Fixing Xbox Rewards Account

Hello I have followed the steps outlined here in my previous post:

Deposit not working, getting "Attention Needed" message.

I have followed the steps for opting out then re-opting in. After waiting for more than 48 hours i don't see the ??? yet. Should I just go ahead and re-enroll anyways?

    Thanks!

  3. Getting points after opting back in

    Hi,

I have been going through the process of re-opting into xbox live rewards after having moved countries. My account now has a more recent date, indicating my opting in is complete. I would now like my points to move over with me. Thank you!

    Re-opting in after country change

    Hello harktheharreld,

We see that you have only completed the first part of the process, and see that you have opted out of your account. This has caused your account to show a join by date of "???" since you are not currently a Rewards member. We have manually started the second
part of the process of creating a new Rewards account. This should complete in 48 hours. Once you are able to sign in and see a recent join by date from this month, let us know!
