Re: November update problems x1x

Since the novemeber 2018 update things i was able to do and use are no longer working. My previous console dashboard wouldnt show anything on mixer or commuinty or gamepass or store. Plus in apps and games some times it shows my memberships most time it
doesnt show i have got gamepass or gold. Everything else is ok network wise and with other equipment isp checked lines and bt tested line to which they said was fine months ago. after having network issues and sending the console back 5 times and exchanged
for 3 different systems. even after have the console came back dashboard worked fine. Internet and downloading is fine. sometimes when i turn it on it shows up but after a restart or refresh nothing shows very intermitent and if it does show it stutters loading
if it does load. Reset console, tried puting update via usb offline update. Full shut down. After removing home activation and enaling it again seem to help it show the dashboard but not the fix was not permanent Chatted with support and spoke to some about
my console. So bought a new x1x set it up started a fresh one.no setting porting over. Same problem as the old one. Please help. Used a diffrent router to still the same. Hope these bugs can be fixed soon. Cud it be an account issue used wifi and cable to.

Dolby Atmos broke again after Jan 25 update!!

On Jan 25, 2018, my Xbox One X did and automatic update. One day later, Dolby Atmos stopped working. If my X1X audio settings are set to Atmos for Home Theater, there is no sound at all from menus, games, or any type of video disc. In order to receive
sound, I must change the settings to stereo uncompressed. I have reinstalled the Atmos app several times, I have updated the firmware for my Samsung K850 soundbar, I have soft reset, hard reset, and done a complete console reset of the X1X. Nothing has fixed
this problem!! Can anyone provide any answers as to why this is happening, are there any fixes out there? This problem was fixed back in November with an update, but after the update on the 25th, its worse!! Before, we just couldn't get Atmos to work, now
there is no sound at all without downgrading to stereo!! This is not acceptable.

We understand that there have been performance issues in regards to your Xbox One X console after an update.

Our suggestion here if it has not yet been attempted, perform a Soft Factory Reset on the console:

Reset and keep my games & apps. You should use this option as your primary choice when troubleshooting. It will reset the OS and delete all potentially corrupted data without deleting your games or
apps. This will save you from downloading or reinstalling the large game files.

Note: This step will remove profiles, so be sure to keep all information for signing into any/all accounts.

Try this step out for us and let us know if this works.

Already done that. I have now exceeded my activations and used the one i autogenerated in the menus. This a brand new system to

After changing the network hardware, have you attempted to ensure that the network side does not have restraints as far as something that might limit the use of the Xbox Live Services.

It is suggested to attempt port forwarding with your console. Have a look through for your router/modem, and follow the steps provided by the website.

Remember the ports needed will be the following:

• Port 88 (UDP)
• Port 3074 (UDP and TCP)
• Port 53 (UDP and TCP)
• Port 80 (TCP)
• Port 500 (UDP)
• Port 3544 (UDP)
• Port 4500 (UDP)

Attempt this and let us know if this did the trick or if further assistance is needed.

Yes and static ip. eveythin was fine till november update and now gona back to old router. Nat shows open.

 

Hello it would seem that the console shows store with no problem when i am not signed in but when i sign in then doesnt show . On the old x1x i un un activated gold home n the dashboard showd all menus fine. I wonder if the update caused the issue. Port
forwarding is on static ip in. Only had this issue since update. Everything else works fine i have gone network mad going thru check after check again and it was the console x1x and the OS which i had trouble since launch. cud you put this forward to devs
to put on list of things to fix please? Intermittent picking up my memberships. Intermittent with signing in and out wether the dashboard menus display properly
