    Re-downloading old dlc


    Okay so because most of my friends weren't getting the xbox one I got some of the games that were also going tobe on next-gen and also got some dlc, but now that I have the xbox one I want to know if I can just re-download the dlc I have purchased?

    Got new console, need some "content transfer" help...

    I ask because I'm looking at re-downloading around 100GB on slow internet connection and on top of that some of my older DLC is no longer available on the servers so I certainly can't even re-download that stuff.

    Re-downloading DLC

    Highlight the game on your dashboard and hold down the menu button ( button with three lines ). A window will pop up and you'll see a "show add on" option, choose that and you should have the option to install dlc.

    I had the same problem with Ryse DLC. Not being able to see your hard drive space / folders or a download list is already getting annoying.

    Re-downloading old dlc

    Sorry but DLC from the 360 is not the same as the DLC for the Xbox One because of the difference in programming. If you want the same DLC you'll need to repurchase it.

    To add to onyx's info, which is correct, if you bought the Season Pass for that DLC then you will likely already own the Season Pass for the Xbox One content. If each piece of DLC was bought individually, then you'll need to purchase again to continue playing
    it on Xbox One.

    You should still be able to access the old DLC. As long as you previously downloaded the DLC to your profile you would only need to re-download it on the new xbox 360.

    license transfer issue.

    it was purchased with my account. it was bought and downloaded on my old console. That console broke, so i bought a new one. the dlc is on my hard drive. since i can't renew the licenses by re-downloading the dlc (due to it being removed from the store entirely).
    I can no longer access the dlc at all, even though the dlc data is on my hard drive.
