    Re-downloading Games with Gold titles on separate XBox


    My son and I have both had XBox Live Gold accounts for some months now, but used just the one XBox 360. So whenever the Games With Gold came out each month, we tended to download the game on my sons account, even though both accounts were eligible. I have
    now purchased a separate 360 for multiplayer gaming, with the intention that my profile will be on that machine. However, I can't download the free games we got with Gold on that machine using my profile. Is there any way we can get the Games With Gold on
    both machines?

    Hey there freakyjop46.

    Are you currently using a trial for Xbox Live gold? Trials aren't eligible for downloading Games with Gold titles.

    I have also download the last 3-4 free games with gold as well as purchasing separate titles with no problems to date.

    Sorry to hear it. Unfortunately only the tag that originally downloaded the content can redownload the full game as only that one owns it. For future reference you should download the content with both tags to ensure ownership of the free games with both
    tags.

    In the meantime your son can download the content to the new console but you should set up a license transfer to the new console first.

    You cannot upgrade from the original Duels to Magic 2012...they are two completely separate games. There is a mandatory title update to download if you want to stay connected to Xbox LIVE, but all title updates are free.

    The xbox one version is a separate title and would require you to purchase that version. The 360 version is not backwards compatible. State of decay year one edition is a separate title with separate achievements
