If this is the account you're trying to cancel, you don't show as having a gold account.

My issue is that Microsoft re-started an old subscription. While my wife had received an e-mail she believed it was a hoax and therefore deleted the e-mail. We do not need or want an XBox Game Pass. While I have cancelled the subscription I do not believe we should be charged £12.99 but you cannot speak to anyone, no-one calls back and nor can you even speak to an advisor via chat. The customer service is beyond poor.

Spoke with the Microsoft customer service. They could not retrieve / find my account.... They can charge me every year via their financial systems but in the support systems they can't find me.....

The creditcard company also can't cancel a subscription, the only way i can do it is to terminate my creditcard and get a new one....

Microsoft NEVER allow anyone to cancel auto renew via the xbox website. YOU MUST contact support and cancel it over the phone so they can have a customer services rep try to convince you not to cancel.

@ Moz - Trust me, for anyone that lives in the UK cancelling via the account options on the xbox website DOES NOT WORK
