    RE-Balancing Killer Instinct for Season 2

    I am not into the high level play but coming from an average Joe I think all terrible exploits should be nerfed/removed because it makes the game not winnable from a casual/fun standpoint too. The last thing I want is for someone to take advantage of a
    less experienced player with cheap unbreakable or broken gameplay. Thats a perfect way to drive the popularity down and discourage the success of KI from a community standpoint.

    ouaah you're going to kill the creativity in this game. I and my brother are the ones that discovered the sadira unbreakable stuffs and we spent a lot of time in training mode for that. you just don't know what you're talking about, if I tell you that orchid
    has the most broken stuffs in the game would you believe me ? sadira 's instinct is nothing compared to her. I was planning to show everyone what she can do but I am afraid of reaction like that. about sabrewulf, every shadow dp in the game is zero frame
    , not only sabrewulf 'shadow eclipse. the only thing that should be change is the hitbox that should be moving instead of being a giant square... And you're not even talking about jago which is safe or positive on every of his move, wind kick is the best openner
    in the game etc... before calling for nerf try to adapt, because reaction like that is going to kill the creativity around this game. right now if there is someone that need to be nerfed because the character break the game , it's orchid, but since nobody
    knows and think she sucks, she might buffed instead.

  6. Orchid needs no buff. I've seen the results when it came to people who played as her most of them won in those matches with her.

    Now, a someone who mains Sabrewulf the issue I have with making the hit box move is you don't give Sabrewulf a chance to uppercut his opponent from the air. Plus that, technically pointless seems some tend to jump over him as he gets up anyway.

    Glacius is a zoner, there should not be any reason to hinder his ice shatter to make them blockable. The shatter shows a beam of light before it hits how can anyone miss that?

    that's what I said, and she even need to be nerfed on some stuff that people don't even know it's there. And I have no interest to make that public since everybody is gonna say it should be nerf, and kill my work. nerfing is not the solution, it's going
    to kill the creative mind like me, we are not going to make videos of what we found, because we fear for the nerf, I made a test with the sadira opener opener unbreakable, I told KDD and he told everyone just to see the reaction ... and now with all the ***
    around that I am sure I am never going to tell my best stuffs, but trust me you've no idea of what some character can do... If you remove sadira's unbreakable, sadira will become bad, she is designed to rely on her very strong instinct, and to get instinct
    you need to get beat hard or to do combo breakers. So it's not unbalanced in the end. the Game is fine the way it is, don't kill the creative mind by nerfing all the stuffs we found even if it's broken.

    Orchid doesn't need a buff, she's actually a pretty good character from what I have seen.

    Sabrewulf's Shadow Eclipse is fine dude, that whole hit-box thing you asked for months ago isn't good for him, it's too small and if people are wanting to jump in do nothing but spam heavy jump in attacks they can now get away with it, Sabrewulf will have
    nothing to defend against it. That claw streak IS the ATTACK not just a little aesthetic to make it look cool. If push comes to shove I'd suggest maybe shrinking the box a little bit by the height and the width just a little bit to make it seemingly more
    balanced as opposed to just making it so small the move is practically useless.

    Another thing: Timing is another case with Sabrewulf, despite the size of the hitbox it's not impossible to avoid, I've battled against Sabrewulf lots of times, and while I did get hit a lot by it due to wake ups to be honest I've had moments where I have
    avoided it by jumping on the right time.

    I think we need more proof about Shadow Eclipse being unblockable, for all we know dude it may not be balancing, it may just be a glitch.

    Sadira's infinite juggle glitch may more or less them being able to end a combo and start a new one. And from what I've seen other character have potential for this to with good timing. I can understand just trolling people at the end of the match but I
    also do agree that creativity in the game shouldn't be stifled either.

    However I am not closed minded so I'd suggest some proof for these claims AcidGlow. You're a good fighter, so I imagine that you'll come up with something quickly.

    AT Jeffron27 , Sabrewulf shadow eclipse is unblockable after the screen freeze because it's a 6, 0 frames that means that the attack after the freeze comes in zero frames , during the freeze itself, So if you weren't blocking before you can't block it. But
    it's like that with other shadow move such as thunder's command grab , and shadow samamish, orchid shadow uppercat, fulgore shadow plasma slice, jago shadow tiger fury, sadria shadow recluse, not sure about glacius puddle punch though. The problem is with
    sabrewulf you can cross up before doing it. that's why it seems unblockable , because if you're not switching your guard before the shadow eclipse freeze , you'll get caught. As simple as that.

  12. Sabrewulf I feel the only tweak he needs is regarding shadow eclipse. Right now it's a zero frame shadow move so on dash crossups you need to be pre emptively blocking the correct way otherwise you cannot react to it. This makes it a guessing
    game. Just give it some startup frames. Enough startup frames to allow the defender to block on reaction, not more not less.

    Sadira Cooldown on blocked instinct webs. If I block a mixup and a ground web correctly I expect to be able to move afterwards. Right now she can keep spamming the webs on block since they have no cooldown locking you down completely and
    you cannot move or press anything. Her instinct unbreakable combos need to be tweaked as well. She basically defies the games combo system and creates a loop of openers and linkers that cannot be broken. Also, remove that dumb infinite ultra loop.

    Jago More recovery frames on windkick or less blockstun and pushback from windkicks. None of them are truly safe but they recover so fast/have so much block stun and pushback that it becomes a mindgame for you how to react after. If you
    go for a punish you eat a nice shoryuken, if you try to poke he can shoryuken or do another light windkick and low crush you. He can backdash then whiff punish you with double heavy kick which low crushes too. If you backdash, he can catch you with another
    windkick. He has too many options after a blocked windkick. This is a move that is amazing at whiffpunishing, can travel full screen, and crushes lows. I think its not right that he has so many options to counter yours after you block it. That move is what
    I call "pseudo unsafe" and BS.

    Fulgore The only tweak I personally believe he needs is regarding his meter. He needs to have a way to gain meter without being so unsafe. I think reducing startup and or recovery frames of his meter charge move would help immensely. People
    seem to forget that while he does have good projectiles and keep away tools, they provide huge meter to opponents who block them. So its not like he can sit there all day and shoot stuff, they give opponents lots of meter and do very little chip damage. His
    shoryuken could use some tweaking to, not only can you jump over it you can meaty it too in the air since its not fully invincible like Jagos. It only has invincibility on startup. Fix His level 3 wallsplat ender it is bugged, the third hit is read as a manual

    Glacius faster startup on puddle punch. His puddle punch is too slow to work as a good reversal and is easily jumped leading to Glacius getting bullied easily and needing shadow meter for shadow countering consistantly

    Spinal N/A

    Thunder slight damage reduction on shadow command grab. I understand the concept of a grappler but raw shadow command grab does too much damage. And this is a character that has a battery ender.

    Also a general fix is needed for a problem that affects alot of characters. Remove the ability for the offender to counter breaker bluff after two shadow openers. Example: Spinal: Opens with shadow sword, then immediately goes into shadow skeleport. This
    is breakable however its risky because he can counter break your breaker attempt. Sadira benefits from this cheap tactic and can cause a glitch combo with shadow widows bite as an opener.

    orchid 's ender reset is my baby , no nerf please it's just a mix up and you're losing some damage to do it, the mix up after is blockable so ne nerf please, you're killing the creative player 's work.

  15. In truth, I don't think Sadira needs any nerfs. Yes her Instinct Mode is the greatest thing since sliced bread, but when you consider that she virtually has no real effect ground wake ups, it kind of evens her out. The fact is, the game is not even out a
    year yet, and in truth, we are still figuring things out, learning new tricks per say, so to start changing things because people don't want to take the time to learn to get around them, is a bit over the top.

    I main Sadira, and she is incredibly tricky to work with. I keep hearing people whine about how easy she is, and I tell you right now, she's a helluva lot of fun, but she isn't easy, especially learning her manuals, and having to do all of these extra motions
    to really get good with her.

    Every character is a puzzle and what's great is that anybody can be good with anybody with enough practice. Thankfully we don't have any Vegas or over the top Seths in this game.

    I don't want any of the characters to be changed. That's what kept happening to SSFIV series. Chung-li was awesome and then they nerfed her. Made her almost impossible to be good as and she got largely abandoned (not by me... I luvs her... ALWAYS!!!!!!).
    They tweaked her again to make her good. I don't want to keep having to relearn a character I've already learned due to crazy nerfs.
