Re-Accessing an Account after Years of being Unused (Unique Situation)

Hello,

I believe my situation to be a unique one. I have just recently repurchased an Xbox 360 game that I had not played in many years (Call of Duty: Black Ops). In the past, I had purchased/downloaded all of the DLC, but had deleted it after I sold the game for
the first time. This game contains 4 main DLC, 2 of which I bought (and can download again no problem) on the account that I am posting with now, and the other 2 on another account.

The unusual part is that I have never used that other account before, and have absolutely no idea what the email/password is to access it. Many years ago, I had bought Microsoft Points online, but those points came preloaded into said other account. I believe
that I purchased the first 2 DLC offerings on that account, and would like to access it in order to download them again, without having to spend an additional $30. I cannot sign into this account as Xbox is prompting me for the password to update security,
or something along those lines. I CAN tell you that the account's gamertag is CleverCleric56 and the email associated with it is
[Mod Removed - Please don't post emails on the forums].

Is there any way for me to prove that this other account belongs to me? The typical protocol for something like this is to enter information associated with the email such as personal info, email subject lines, etc. but obviously I have no idea what any
of it could possibly be. As I said, I would like to have access to that account so I do not have to repurchase the DLC.

Same name on the Microsoft Account?

 

Since you know the email attached to the account, you would need to reset the password. Microsoft does not keep the passwords on file so there would be no way for them to just tell you the password.

Thanks for your response. I have tried this before, but like I said, I have no affiliation with this other email account other than the microsoft points that came on it. Because of that, I can't switch the password because the secondary account linked to
it is not my own.

Sorry, but that is the only way to recover a password. Microsoft does not keep those on file.

Since buying/selling accounts is a violation of the terms of service, you're technically not the original owner of the account. So there's really not much else you can do.
