RDR2 Disc download..............

It is happening to my Red Dead Redemption 2 disc and one of my Tom Clancy games. I got them both from a sibling.

Don't worry we will work on this together. May I know is it happening to all of your game discs or just in a certain game?

In case of a bad disc, you need to go to Walmart and have them exchange it for a working disc of the same game.

Since the box was opened, they won't refund you or give you a different game, but if you ask for an exchange for the same game they should (have to) comply, as they sold you a defective product. You just want the working version of what you paid for.

If Walmart still won't replace your defective disc, contact the Rockstar Games support for a disc replacement.

If the console detects the disc, but is unable to install the game from disc, you could try the following:

Make sure the disc is properly detected by the console, and that you don't have anything RDR2 related installed on your console.

Then go to the store on your console and find the RDR2 edition you have in your console.

It should show an install button instead of a buy button, and you should be able to download the game, as long as the disc is detected in the console.

This worked and now my RDR2 has downloaded fully thank you
