RDR Online save

So with Red Dead Redemption finally being backwards compatible (thank you to everyone involved), I'm finally able to play this game again. That being said, I loaded up multiplayer to play with a friend and I was confused upon spawning. I was a level 1. When
I played on 360, I know I wasn't a level 1 and I'm kinda annoyed that I lost all my online progress. Is anyone else having this issue or is there some sort of fix for this?

Stuck On Loading Session

this is a completely different online system then rdr gta4 and mp3, this online has one massive cloud save, everything goes off it and this is the first time they're doing it. so don't compare this games online to their others.....

I know through experience. I mean if the game itself saves it online then yes it would be linked to the GT. But it isn't often, I had recovered my GT and couldn't play my RDR, Fallout, or Skyrim saves, all singleplayer games.

 

I've have the same issue

I was on the 360 the highest level with Zebra, Im now Lvl. 1, thats annoying

 

Your multiplayer character save is saved to the hard drive. So you would have to go to your 360 and copy your save to the cloud.

 

Well that's a bummer. Guess I'll have to dig out my 360 then. Kinda doesn't make sense though since its multiplayer.

 

I also had this issue. Was almost level 50 when I played a couple years ago. I was so excited to continue leveling up my guy now that its backward on the xbox one. Loaded it up and at level 1! Such a pain.

 

Probably the fact that Gamespy had ceased to provide a service since 2014. Games such as this one who used a 3rd party multiplayer server such as Gamespy is more than likely your progress wasn't mitigated to a new server in order for progresses made hadn't
been backed up.
