RDR Game of the Year

I purchased the RDR GOTY edition Xbox 1/360 disc, however, the disc will not load or install. I thought the whole reason for making an Xbox 1/360 version was to avoid having to download an enormous file to play it? When I insert the disc, my Xbox 1X says
that the disc isn't compatible.

Worth a buy?

The game of the year is supposedly going to sport a hardcore mode... Hopefully they'll add it to the regular owners of RDR too as an update.

Hi!

RDR is a backward compatible title, I use it on the X1 myself. Make sure you are properly connected to the Live. When you insert the disc, you will receive a message to download the compatible version on the X1. It will not install anything from the disk,
but you will need to keep the disk inserted in order to play later.

This is beyond hard.. and it is difficult to remember 10 years of games.. lol. I would have to say one of the Halos or RDR 2..
